Welcome to the Bloomington Quilters Guild!

String Piecing WorkshopWelcome to the Bloomington Quilters Guild of Indiana! Above is Betsy Glassey's string pieced quilt in progress. Betsy taught a BQG summer workshop in string piecing on August 16, 2017.

The purpose of the Bloomington Quilters Guild is to develop an appreciation for the history of quilting and quilters and to promote a continuation of the art in our community. We are a charitable 501c3 not-for-profit organization with 200 members located in Bloomington, Indiana. Please come JOIN US!

June's meeting is Tuesday, June 5, 2018. This is our last meeting for the Guild's 2017-18 year. It’s our end-of-the-year potluck with food, friends, awards, and of course, our challenge quilt winners! We'll pick a winner of this year's Scrappy Bear Paw raffle quilt.

Peruse our website and get to know us a little better. We welcome guests to all of our meetings. To see meetings, workshops and events, visit our Events page.

The first workshop of our 2018-19 quilt year will be David Taylor's Workshop: Pictorial Hand Appliqué on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Registration will open once details are finalized.

Join us for our Oct 25-28, 2018 Fall Retreat at Clifty Falls State Park in Madison, Indiana.
